Pretty Cool June 23, 2009 boogergreenglen (Torrance, California United States) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Just got the the Lowepro Ridge 30 for my panasonic DMC-ZS3. It fits nicely with a spacious pocket once you lift open the velcro flap. I tried the lowepro ridge 20 first and the camera actually fit inside like a glove with the wrist strap tucked in but I wanted something with a little more slack. The material is pretty nice and seems durable. Considering it's about $10-$13, you can't really complain. I would recommend this for a DMC-ZS3/ZS1 camera.
Ridge 30 for Lumix DMC-ZS3 November 13, 2009 D. R. Combs (Dallas, TX) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
After reading all the reviews, decided to go ahead and get this for my new Panny Lumix DMC-ZS3. Was NOT disappointed. The camera fit perfectly; not too tight, not too loose. Somehow, I can't help but imagine that the [recommended / suggested] Rezo 30 would have been a tad too small. So if you have the ZS3, don't hesitate getting this thinking it may be too roomy. It's not. (Bag is actually smaller than I thought it would be.) Shoulder strap is nice, but with the belt loop, I'll probably carry it that way at least 98% of the time.
As for whether there's room for a spare battery (or memory card) - no problem. There are three pockets total: One small zipper pocket ON the closure flap (the smallest), one under the velcro-secured flap, and the zipper pocket in back (for the camera). Both the outer pocket and inner pocket have adequate room for the battery (the inner one could probably hold two). If you're looking to carry cables also, you'll have to get something bigger. You could put the USB cable in the inner pocket, and the battery in the outer - there's certainly enough room, but my guess is it would make the overall pouch a bit bulky. Personally, I'd rather not; I prefer the slimmer look. If you're going on vacation or a long trip, get a bigger bag so you can take all the goodies with you. But for day trips, this is perfect.
Typical Lowepro Product May 14, 2008 monkuboy (Temple City, CA United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have purchased several Lowepro products and have never been disappointed. When I need a small case/pouch, this is the brand I look at first. The Ridge 30 is well-made, sturdy and looks nice, too (just like the picture). The only caveat is to make sure that the dimensions are right for whatever you plan to store in it, and err on the side of buying a size too large. Things tend to fit quite snugly in these cases. For the price, you can't beat it.
perfect fit for Nikon P6000 camera November 26, 2008 l2 (California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This case is a perfect fit for the Nikon Coolpix P6000 camera. For a heavier camera, the zipper closure is more secure than the velcro found on most camera bags. The case doesn't have as much padding as some others, but I prefer that since that makes the case more compact. A spare battery and spare memory card easily fit into the outside pockets. Construction quality is very good. For $10, I can't ask for any more.
Excellent Product May 18, 2008 monkuboy (Temple City, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I recently bought this same bag in green and did a review and just wanted to say that this red/burgundy one is just as good. The only negative thing I have to say is whoever did the product listing for Amazon doesn't know how to spell "burgundy" - they spelled it "burgandy." Lowepro makes quality products and when I need any sort of carrying bag for my electronics, I look at what they have first. The bags are well-constructed, sturdy, and provide good padding for whatever you want to put inside of it. Just make sure you get the right size.
